GTR Related Mid Season change of Colour at Kerbcrawlers

Earlier than expected Kerbcrawlers' cars have been seen out testing in a new silver and black layout.

Skilled panel beaters from Switzerland and Ireland have given the cars a new fresh look.

With half of Season 5 still to go Kerbcrawlers are still fighting for team championships.

Has Mo managed to fit the right tyres this time?

GTR Related SRou Event 3 - Spa

Well Season 4 is well underway and everyone has had a chance to settle in and see where they stand. Some new drivers and some familiar faces, and generally speaking a huge increase in pace throughout the field even since the recent season 3.

The third race was at Spa where new teammie Poddy cruised to victory in the academy race.
In only his first race Poddy, who's been a bit of a dark horse, qualified in second place and won the race comfortably by almost 30secs as well as setting the fastest lap along the way. Congratulations!

Meanwhile in the masters division Kerbcrawlers really still have to start their campaign. The season has been plagued by technical issues and general bad luck.
Things can only geet better and everyone's looking forward to China now ......
Can Poddy embarass the field again? Can the team make an impact on the masters grid?

GTR Related Mo wins the nGT series.

Many congratulations to Mo of team Kerbcrawlers for his fine championship win in season 2 of the UKGTR nGT Sprint Series.

Even after two unlucky rounds in which Mo managed to snag just 2 points from a potential 100 he still achieved the overall win by a margin of 30 from Truetom , which just goes to show what a commanding driver Mo has been throughout this season. Well done mate.

Unfortunately, even though we had 4 drivers start the race, with Mo and SBG both looking good for top 6 finishes, the only eventual finisher was myself in a rather lowly 12th. Therefore we failed to score any points in the Team Championship and had to settle for 3rd. Still pretty good but not the result we hoped for.

Theres still one race left in the GT series as well as the Endurance series in which Mo and SBG are surrently leading the nGT class, so still plenty to route for there.

Here's to S3 and more fun racing before the (hopefull) launch of GTR2.

  GTR Related UKGTR Updates

Just a little note on how the Kerbcrawlers are showing in the UKGTR series of races held by our good freinds over at Simracing

Season 2 of the sprint races is drawing to a close and Mo is looking good in the nGT class, currently at the top of the table.
With Monza still to run, Mo has 291 points whilst TrueTom has 241 in second. With 50 points for a win and 4 wins already under his belt, Im sure Mo must be feeling nervous about the final round.

In the GT series Mo is sat in 3rd place on 191 points with 2nd place on 241. There are still 2 rounds left for GT so a couple of good races could stand Mo in a great position, especially after his fine win in the last round at Oscherslaben.

The second season of the Endurance series has begun and Im happy to say that Mo and SBG are surrently in 1st and 2nd in the nGT class after great results from both drivers.

As far as the team competitions go, once again Kerbcrawlers are holding theyre own against (what you would have thought would be) stronger competition. Whilst this in the most part is due to Mo's fantastic run of form this season, Rob, Edza, Nakano, SBG and myself have all added points at one time or another.
Our closest battle at the minute is in nGT where we are currently joint 2nd with CBFR to Ze Insane Penguins by just 7 points.
In GT we arent fairing quite so well back in 5th spot. This is to be expected since there are only Mo and myself contributing regular points, and mine havnt counted for much tbh ;o)
Endurance, we are the clear leaders with a 16 point gap on NGT Legends, although there is obviously still a long, long way to go to the finale at Monza.

All in all, we aint doing too bad. So keep up the good work Kerbies, and keep having fun.

Wilier.

  GTR Related UKGTR Results.

Well, the results of last weekends final round of the UKGTR Endurance D2 are here (actually, they were here last Sunday, but Ive been away for the week), and its my pleasure to say that Kerbcrawlers had a cracking season.

GinstersSponsored won the GT championship after some solid performances including 2 wins, 2 seconds and no less than 4 third places. Well done Ian, great result matey.

Even though he's decided to leave the team, Jamera still gets a mention for a solid third place in the nGT overall with some consistant driving seeing him a contender all through the season.

All this lead to a really good team result of first, which is going to be really hard to maintain next season but Im sure with Mo's great form of late we can achieve it.

Well done fellas, great results all round. :o)

OK, so tomorrows the LAN party in Messingham. Just a little note to remind everyone who's coming where we are and what to bring

Have a browse through the forums to see what games we will be playing and what the patch situation is.
One last thing, anyone who's local and fancies giving me a hand to set up, I'll be down at the village hall with Trommy at about 21.30 tonight (25th Nov) to set out the tables, network and power cables.

See you tomorrow all, lets hope we all have fun. Phil (Wilier)

  GTR Related Go Mo.......

Just a quick note to congratulate Mo on his fine win in the 2nd round of the UK GTR nGT sprint series held at at Magny Course last night.

Mo qualified first with a great time of 1.39.640 and had a fairly untroubled race to eventually win by nearly 30 seconds. This comes on the back of Mo's win at the weekend in the Div 2 Endurance Champs, so he's obviously found some great form of late.

The win yesterday actually places Mo in the lead of the championship, coupled with some good points from Rob, Wobble and myself this also puts the Kerbcrawlers in the lead of the team championship, a full one point ahead of Ze Insane Penguins.

Whilst its still very early in the season, its an encouraging start. Keep it up boys.

Wilier

GTR Related Congrats to Mr Mark Harrison

Just a real quick note to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to Mark for his fine
second place overall in Season 1 of the UKGTR GT Sprint series.

Well done Marko your an inspiration to the rest of us dweebs :o)

With 4 wins out of 10 races imagine what you could have done if not
for the 4 D.N.F.s, although it has to be said, it was close. Not sure what
happened last night, but Shark closed within 6 points with a 5th place to
Marks 11th.

Still well done matey, Im now rooting for Ginster in Div2 of the Endurance
Champs which still has 5 races to go.

Just noticed actually (thanks to Don for pointing it out) that we won the GT Sprint team champs too, great achievement chaps, and I cant end without patting Ginster on the back for a fine 4th in GT sprint, well done Iain.
